National Roundtable on Comprehensive School Health

Eighty-five enthusiastic and insightful participants made the first ever pan-Canadian Comprehensive School Health Roundtable a dynamic and enjoyable meeting. Through active participation in plenary discussions, small group work, individual networking and information exchange, participants contributed to the purpose of this event: to engage leading Canadian researchers, policy makers and practitioners in comprehensive school health to establish shared priorities for evidence-informed policies and practices in relation to healthy eating, physical activity and tobacco.

National Roundtable on Comprehensive School Health Communique

Much has happened since the May 2010 event. This document shares consolidated priorities and next steps to achieve them. It

  • invites you to consider how your work has helped further the priorities.
  • requests response from you to tell us how your work complements work on these priorities.
  • asks you to consider how you and your organization might contribute in the future.
